Hi everyone,

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up next month and we’d really love to see as many of our Blackfriars Members and Volunteers there as possible.

Blackfriars Annual General Meeting 2026 Wednesday 23rd September at 7pm Blackfriars Theatre

The AGM is an opportunity to hear more about Blackfriars, look back at the past year and be part of the formal business that helps keep our theatre and charity moving forward.

The meeting is open to all Members and Volunteers of Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre.

Could you be one of our Trustees?

There is currently one vacancy on the Blackfriars Board of Trustees and nominations are now open.

Our Trustees play an important role in supporting the future of Blackfriars and the work we do as a charity. If you have ever thought you might like to become more involved, we would really encourage you to consider putting yourself forward.

Equally, you may know someone who you think would bring something valuable to the Board and would be an asset to Blackfriars.

If you would like an informal conversation about what being a Director and Trustee involves, please contact our Chair, Robert Barclay, at robert@blackfriarsartscentre.co.uk.

Blackfriars Membership

To be eligible to vote at the AGM or to be nominated as a Director and Trustee, you must have paid your annual Blackfriars Membership fee of £15.

If you still need to renew or pay your membership, you can do so in any of the following ways:

Please use Membership as your payment reference and email finance@blackfriarsartscentre.co.uk afterwards to let us know you have paid.

By cheque Cheques for £15 can be made payable to Blackfriars Arts Centre Ltd and sent to the theatre.

At the Box Office You are also very welcome to pop into Blackfriars and pay in person:

Monday to Friday: 10am to 1pmSaturday: 10am to 2pm
